East Broad Top
The East Broad Top Railroad located in Rockhill Furnace, Pennsylvania is one of those places where time stands still. The Roundhouse and Shops Complex look like the workers left for the last time yesterday, even though yesterday was April 14, 1956 when the Railroad ceased operations. In 1960, the railroad re-opened as a tourist train and operated until 2013 when it ceased operations again. I was fortunate to have been able to photograph the East Broad Top during the final years of its tourist career. Hopefully it will reopen one day so future generations may visit this amazing place.
